It proves that the board never had a plan then like they do now. Warnock was just a big plaster over a massive crack. Warnock was always short term yes we finished on 90 points and promoted but that has all come to nothing and actually weakened us in the grand scheme of things was it worth it?

He saved a much poorer Rotherham side the season before he came here, a moron could see he would be a good appointment. They’ve still always remained the same inept board. Even relied on him to recommend Harris/McCarthy

Because everything you have put in this thread has been anti-Warnock. He was absolutely brilliant for us, one of the best we’ve ever had as manager.

Warnock was the tonic needed by the club after a highly divisive revrand and the club losing its way. He helped heal the club to some extent. He did some great business for the club but I'm sure as I can be, without knowing, that he was pretty corrupt.

I also believe Malky and OGS were corrupt. I can understand Tan being a bit sceptical of managerial bullshit but find it hilarious he has kept faith in Tan and Choo who have been complicit in most of the mistakes.

There is not a proper recruitment structure in place its all based on the individual managers and their agents and they must rub their hands with glee when they see how incompetent our board is and get their pants pulled down. A DOF would've solved a lot of problems but no Dalman & Choo are fit for purpose in Tans eyes.

I think Warnock was brilliant for the club, kept us from going down and was unlucky not to keep us in the premier league on a small budget. He just had a disaster of a window in the summer of 19/20, which undid a lot of the good
