Reading a diverse mix at the moment. One of Lee Child's Jack Reacher episodes, James Patterson's The People versus Alex Cross. And The Qur An by Muhammad Ghali

I'm currently ploughing through a book by one of my favourite journalists, Mark Curtis, which is titled, Secret Affairs: Britain's Collusion with Radical Islam.

I tell you what I haven't read for ages is one of them stories in Escort or Readers Wives. Bloody interesting stuff. That's where I gleaned the majority of my vocabulary from. Do they still exist?

I doubt you knew how to read then. Looking at pictures does not a reader make.

The Rebus novels are an excellent series of books. His character develops over the years, but the events of "Knots & Crosses" define Rebus's future and are referred back to from time to time. A great novel.
