What sporting memorobilia do you own?

@Nugent has Mark Williams' snooker cue somewhere although he doesn't like to mention it.
I forgot I told people about that
I also have knocking about somewhere, a wheel nut from a Benetton F1 car, mounted on a little plaque. It's from the Schumacher era, I'm fairly sure, but have no idea whose car it's actually from. Bought it at a car show many years ago.
Could be Schumacher

Not sporting and long gone now, Madonna at Wembley, clippings of pubes from her fanny hair and eyebrow trimming lady. No panties though

I was with Inter Cardiff (aka CableTel) when we played Celtic in the UEFA Cup in 1997 and we had dinner in the boardroom the night before the game before being presented with an engraved hip flask and a whisky labelled with the match details. I've never wanted to open the whisky and wondered if they were worth anything as there were only about six made for that particular game.
I've also got a lot of City books signed by the authors including the one by the late John Crooks which I've seen going for a few bob in the past.

Fair play you must have been a good player.

Whether the whisky is worth anything obviously depends on how good it is. Quick observations - no brand name, it's a blend and hasn't matured for a significant period. Whisky doesn't improve once it's in the bottle but shouldn't have deteriorated either (when people refer to years it has matured that's in the barrel). Unless you know the provenance of the whisky it would be a pig in a poke and the assumption would be it's not an expensive or high quality whisky.

The fact that it's pretty unique and has a history may prove of interest to a collector but it would be pretty niche to be honest. That's great memorabilia and I'd be keeping it in your position.

Thanks for that. I don't intend to get rid of them but was curious about their worth.
I'd love to have been that good as a player (I was actually fairly shit) but I was the Club's Press Officer and programme editor! Those items weren't presented to the players.

Still that must have been an interesting gig. I'd imagine you'd find it hard to get a decent valuation as it's a blend (no pun intended) of whisky and sport and there's nothing to suggest who made the whisky.

Great times because I went to Slovenia with them in the UEFA Cup as well against Gorica. We stayed above a massive casino and starting taking photos in there in the evening when we got a bit pissed up before being threatened with violence by the security (Mafia?) if we kept using cameras in the casino.
Gorica didn't present us with anything 🙁

Randomly had match worn shirt by the 90s Newcastle player Ketsbaia given to me by my dad who had it given to him by one of his customers. Kept it for years but gave it to my cousin who collects shirts.

Got our black FA Cup Final final shirt with the badges and the chest print, never put it on to wear but waiting to have my man cave in the next year or so and that’ll be framed on the wall.

I got banned from the comb, AA site and by colonel same day! I don't have the T-shirt but have the butt plag and anal beads somewhere

At a pro celebrity golf tournament I saw Ian Woosnam walk over to give what he obviously assumed was a big fan, one of his tee’s, the lad he offered it to said “nah you’re alright mate”. Woosnam looked crestfallen.
:hehe:

Wasn't his old caddy was it?

How much was that ?

I “acquired” a small piece of turf from the Ninian Park pitch years ago and it’s still growing in my back garden does that count?

I’ve got an Erol Bulut iron at home. Doesn’t work though because it isn’t able to press.
