Apocalypse now should be higher and there is no way shawshank and I think it is a brilliant film should be higher than godfather 1 or 2, the departed is a great film but that’s also too high, city of God is a brilliant film, although heath ledger deserved an Oscar for his performance dark knight is nowhere near 3

Shawshank wouldn't make it into my top 100 to be honest. Good film, but I think it is overrated. Taxi Driver not in the Top 100 anymore, and that's one of my favourite movies.

I thought taxi driver was shit (subjective) i cant believe the revenent is not in the top 250

There's a lot of Japanese/Anime stuff there too. In fairness, some of that stuff is brilliant, can be close to the knuckle, but I sometimes feel like if I've seen one of those Animes, I've seen them all.

Too many contemporary films in there. Obviously it's just opinions but I don't get why the Joker for example is in the list. Bang average imo

The Dark Knight at number 3…really? It’s a good film but not one of the best ever made, I don’t think it’s Christopher Nolan’s best film, Inception or Memento gets that tag I think.

I'm the same. Although I'm open minded about Foreign Films. "Here's a film to help you with French" said our old French teacher. We couldn't understand a word, and no subtitles, but as I remember it was set in a French Girls School, and after 30 minutes the teacher was fumbling for the remote as we had full on nudity.

Downfall is probably the best foreign film I’ve seen, German. About Hitler in his bunker and topping himself.
