It seems to me that we have the best part of a squad to finally meet the owner's ambitions. This season started at the bottom of the bungee jump and I can't see Tan being tempted by a mere £10m, which is probably the max that an exceptional 18 year old League 1 player might attract.

Lawlor is superb. Great positioning, passing and love the way he can drive forward. Outmuscled once or twice today but pretty strong for his age. Think he'll be a regular on the Prem within a few years

Sometimes you can tell as much by the way they talk as by the way they play. Intelligent on and off the pitch. Our best prospect since Rambo imo.

We have seen it happen too.many times before but hopefully not this time.

Wintle by a long way for me, created numerous chances with his clipped balls over the top. Abd was just neat and tidy all day.

I did not see the game as on holiday. Butbi must say it is good to hear wintle is finding his capable form and getting plaudits. So often looks quiet and vulnerable in games and every now and then playing a blinder. Long may it continue.
