Joel Colwill's goal earns point which extends City's lead over the team in third.

*I’ve now seen the Hills/Salech incident a few times on video and the Stockport man’s elbow does make contact with Yousef’s neck, but, for me, it’s because the momentum of Hills getting up to continue with the game causes the contact to be made. I should say that there are plenty of City fans who’ll think I’m being over generous to the Stockport player there, but I just feels that the images aren’t conclusive to maintain that Salech’s injury was caused deliberately.

I felt at the time and still do that it was a sly dig. Even if, as you say, this was caused by the momentum of Hills getting up, it was unnecessary and reckless play. The ball had gone and play was moving away from Salech and Hills.

I'm not saying I'm right for sure, but I don 't reckon the videos I've seen are conclusive in showing it to be deliberate. Someone on Mike Morris' board put it well when he said most jurys would not convict on such evidence.

That wasn't the point I was making, which was, at best, there was no duty of care shown to the player he had already landed on.

From the angles I've seen I'm not sure you can blame their defender as Salech jumps in from the side at the last second

It's the way that the defender gets up that is the point of contention.

Couldn't see anything clearly wrong with that in the angles I've seen (which weren't very good)

Defender is aware Salech is coming, makes sure elbow is at the height and position Salech is coming from. He then cynically lands on him.

The fact Salech was on the floor holding his head and Hills then pats him on the head and tried to move his head indicates it was no accident,
