Pressure does strange things to people and of course they stopped taking him seriously after that and stopped playing for him. He went on a tirade against certain players.

The sad fact is, and I hate to admit it, their series of good appointments is nothing to do with luck. At the risk of sounding like @Norris Cole talking about Hidden Gem FC, they have an identity as a club and they appoint suitable managers accordingly. Ironically though, on the small number of occasions I’ve watched Swansea this season, they’ve looked about as far away from their supposed identity as physically possible. Yet Cooper is still being touted for bigger jobs.
