Are you renewing?

I wasn't sure if there were rules regarding the grounds and maintenance these days. Wales wouldn't want to play Saturday afternoon if we'd torn the pitch to shreds on a rainy Friday night.
It's all the advertising and stuff too. Can't see it being possible to have 2 matches in 24 hours.

I also seem to remember watching us beat San Marino 6-0 and City were at Cambridge that day. If I got that correct I'm going to be amazed. :hehe:

Yep, was 31 Aug 1996. We won 2-0.

I think the bigger picture here is that currently we’re losing money with around 20,000 bums on seats and TV money.

Most businesses would have a plan based on current revenue streams, and would have a plan B/C for promotion/relevationbut this is Cardiff, so fuck knows what impact relegation will have on our budget

Don’t think pricing will change much, I actually think we’re quite reasonably priced compared to some others. Be lucky to hit 10k ST holders this year though I think.

Going off current season pricing, our £359 (zone 4, Canton stand) non early bird, would’ve put us joint 13th cheapest with Bristol Rovers

I’ll be renewing, I’ll be there whatever division, come rain or shine. It’s what Saturdays are for.

It used to be we'd call off matches gor 3 u21 players, none of whom were first teamers.

Sometimes it'd be Haworth and two unknowns. I swear the FAW would call up three from us, Swansea and Wrexham just to avoid losing fans at the Welsh matches.
One of the few positives is that our academy seems to be shaping up so fielding a minimum of three eligible Wales players shouldn't be too difficult.

Was impressed the FAW were quick to help once Riza was finally sacked. Can see it's in their interest but there was a time their coaches would be more hindrance than help and bickering would get in the way. On that basis you'd assume they'd be looking to help us out where they could especially if we were to play at home

In fairness, the one thing the club does get right is the pricing.

I can't imagine they'll drop the price, but may offer discounts for families. The most likely people to not renew would be families I reckon. They could drop the price as a way of an apology. Or, a promise on player transfers like the Riddler did.

Some sort of a sweetener will be needed, and the club just won the much sought after FAN ENGAGEMENT TROPHY, so I'm sure there'll be something creative.
Us four are going to renew.

I am expecting to renew again.

I'll probably go to more games and get better value for money, tbh. For starters if more Saturday games are 3pm then that'll make things loads easier. I've been to fewer games these past couple of years. Part of that has been due to other commitments at home, part because early KOs and midweek games are a non-starter but also, if I'm honest, because the motivation to overcome these issues and get down there has been smaller, the grimmer things have been. If we end up playing better football against poorer opposition, scoring more goals and winning more games then it brings that bit of joy back to justify a 7 or 8 hour round-trip.

Don't put yourself through another season gents...find something else to do on a Saturday afternoon

After a lot of soul searching I've decided to renew in the hope we sign someone who can take a fucking corner

Just had the email. No mention of an early bird offer for current season ticket holders :sherlock:
