I wonder what the final number will be. New manager could have a big impact
Of all the candidates linked with the job so far I can’t really think of any that would be likely to have a significant impact on sales.

When was the last time our manager caused any increase?

Big impact might be overstating it to be fair but a manager with a proper track record at this level or known to deliver good football would help sales.

A Purse type would put plenty off. If he was given the job I'd be wrestling with renewing more than I have in 23 years (but would probably do it anyway as habit/a social thing)

I honestly do not think it will be lower than last season mate. The fans will stick with it. I think there will be a big drop the season after if we fail to challenge to go straight back up.

I think it’s all about messaging. If the new managerial appointment is uninspiring and the club officials talk about cutting the cloth, living within its means and having a good go at a top six finish then I think we’ll just see last seasons apathy and despondency continue.

On the other hand if we appoint a good, proven manager, employ a technical director, insist we are absolutely aiming to win the division, pushing our young local lads to the forefront of all the advertising, then it might actually create some much needed optimism amongst the fans.

Since i started going down the City on my own 1975/76 season. There has been only one relegation that saw us needing to appoint a new manager the season after. We kept all our managers after relegation except the 1994/95 season.

Can someone who had a physical season ticket card last season tell me if you get a digital version on your phone as well? Cheers.

Wonder where we end up. I'd wager there'll be a small rush as people waiting for payday / pushing it to the wire for keeping their seat. I and my comrades are yet to renew but we all will.
