Just a quick post, to say thanks to everyone who posted kind words, when reading about my recent scare at home with the other half.
Thankfully all went well, and she is now relaxing and recovering at home.
if any of you get the opportunity to do cpr training, please do, as you could save a life with your actions.
again thanks to you all for your kind messages of support, very much appreciated indeed.:aya:

that is a much better read now, glad hear things going well

Fair play to you, and tremendous efforts and quick thinking under unimaginable circumstances

Glad to hear she’s on the mend.

If anyone is interested here’s the link to learn how.

I'm genuinely going to do this course.

Having that confidence and clarity to step in during such an incident must be super hero level stuff.

As an aside, how the hell did the very first person come up with the idea in the first place!!

Don't know about super hero, it's a case of fight or flight I believe, some just freeze, unable to do anything, other dive straight in, I guess I'm the latter, but training for my great nephews benefit, has sure been a life saver, literally!
Have no idea who came up with the method, but whoever it was, I'm certainly a grateful student!
Good on you mate, another who may one day put it into practice ( hopefully not!) On someone in urgent need.:clap::clap:

I missed the original post mate, but it's great to hear your wife is now recovering.

So pleased for your outcome,I sincerely hope you and your other half have many more years together,I'm sure if you took things for granted(,I certainly did,)you both don't do that know.
There aren't to many more painful things in life you will come up against in my experience, so my advice, dont stress over the little things, live day to day and treasure every moment together

I've never worried about things I have little control of/over, and after her 1st heart attack in 2023, a lot changed re doing things we want to do, and we also have our great nephew to look out for, who has his own myriad of issues to cope with, which he does admirably tbh, I've always told family & friends " do not waste time & energy on things you have little to no chance of changing, concentrate on those things you can" but thanks for taking time to post your advice, much appreciated.:aya:

Great words there Bri.

Stress is the single biggest killer and bringer of disease, so I've given it up now
