As I recall, the original 'Soul Crew,' started in the late 70's and was more or less populated by copy cat wannabees, towards the end of the 80's.
Their association was to the City and Howells Girl's School in Llandaff. It was a different era back then, one where if there
was "grass on the wicket" ...
The girls, as usual, controlled young male hormones and wore small plastic yellow Teddy bears, around their waists, signifying an intimate encounter with one of the 'Soul Crew.'
