This is a forum that we're discussing. One that has proved to be dysfunctional, not a re- enactment of, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

Moderation can be beneficial to maintain a healthy and respectful conversation in the forum. Moderators can step in when they see inappropriate behavior and remind users to remain civil and avoid engaging in ad hominem attacks.
Closing the forum completely may not be necessary, as some people do enjoy the anonymous aspect of it. However, a code of conduct should be established, and users should be reminded to be respectful towards one another.
Ultimately, the fate of the Anon forum should be decided by the community, and their thoughts and opinions should be taken into consideration.

The views of people on the anon forum are obviously the views of posters on here, Would rather them just talk their bollox on there tbh or at some point some of it will end up in the main forum.
I visit it every couple of days and occasionally post there. That said, whoever is the main wind up merchant over there(and I think it's only a couple at most) needs some serious treatment. Their engagement just doesn't allow any discussion on what could be interesting threads to develop.

Agree with that. It serves a purpose and if a certain number of posters are of such a mind that they are happy to contribute over there, let them have free rein to spout whatever nonsense is important enough to them to have to express it behind a cloak of anonymity.
