The NFL has it right, where one team will always wear white. The franchises will have two kits, one white accented with a dark colour(s) and the same-coloured dark kit, so there can never be a clash.

NFL merchandising is one of the most successful businesses of its kind in the world. Essentially, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
