On my way. I've had earache since Monday and was prescribed this by my doctor. Probably shouldn't fly but fuck that Joe's going. He didn't say I couldn't. I once worked a whole week with a broken hand without realising it. Couldn't sleep last night. Not because of excitement but because of earache. So if my head explodes on the plane it was nice knowing you all, and at least finally I would have put my brains to good use. All over the passengers in row 24.

That’s for otitis externa, fine to fly with it. Avoid headphones, swimming and gay sex for a week though.

Is that an external infection cause my outer ear is swollen or is it all part an parcel like.

The infection is in the external auditory meatus (ear canal), rather than behind the ear drum which would be an otitis media (needing oral antibiotics). The swelling to the outer ear is just a symptom of the infection.
