Just got home from what was supposed to have been a celebration but was more like a party that nobody brought any beer to.
Weird that Salech missed a sitter with his head but Colwill showed him how to do it.
 
After Saturdays high I half expected this.
Team and fans have had a couple of great days and like anything there is a leveling off and tonight was it.
Think we will.be back up for it on Saturday.
Not at all fussed on playing without wingers that experiment failed so hope we don't see that again.
 
Just got home real fan I am none of this watching on streams nonsense from me

Very flat atmosphere wasn't it. Hopefully Saturday will be better. IMO majority of fan base are just so relieved we are back up at first attempt, rather than ecstatic over a promotion. Port vale did not exactly play like a team that needed to win their remaining 4 games to stay up.

I know they had virtually no chance of staying up anyway but you expect them to at least try. They didn't look like they could be bothered.

It felt like the proper effort only came right at the end. Their confidence must be shot and they were probably scared we'd tear them apart if they opened up to soon but to have a delayed response once they were a goal down was bizarre
 
A tired and fractured display last night ,which was probably predictable after the efforts of the last few weeks ,and the change of formation .Given the circumstances looked like BBM took the opportunity to experiment with the formation frankly it didn't work lack of width killed us even though Kpak and Scanlon showed their pace in going beyond Port Vale's defence crosses were at a premium so Salech was starved of service and Robinson struggled to impact the game.Again last night showed Robertson and Wintle are our best midfield combo.And I know Ruben got us the winner but overall his play was poor .Hopefull that BBM reverts back to using wingers Saturday against the cobblers and we round off a most enjoyable season with a resounding victory.🐦BLUEBIRDS🐦
