Chelsea has decided to loan out Omari Kellyman for another season, triggering a transfer scramble among several clubs, including Cardiff City.

Several Championship clubs and European teams have expressed interest in signing Kellyman, but Cardiff City hopes to have an advantage due to their existing relationship with Chelsea's recruitment chief Joe Shields.

Kellyman's versatility and eye for goal made him a key figure in Cardiff City's promotion campaign, and his return to the club would be a significant boost to their chances in the Championship.

Ultimately, Cardiff City faces a major fight to bring Kellyman back to the club, with several other teams vying for his signature and Chelsea considering various loan options for the young player.

You’d have to hope we’re in with a good chance here.

1. They were happy to loan him to us in Lee G’wan
2. They must’ve been happy with his game time
3. He seemed happy enough here

I can't see why they'd choose another Championship club. There is also reported interest in Europe though.

Most players loaned out tend to be to the lower divs first, then try at higher level. Chelsea may well have been happy, but may also want to see how he adapts to a different environment.

I would be happy to have him back.

If Chelsea asked Kellyman, would he like another season at Cardiff, do you think he would say yes?
