They've definitely upped their game. I get loads of emails and nessages about games from the club now which are ramped up for the derbies. Quite annoying as I have a season ticket but good to see the club are trying

Yeah they are preaching to the converted really with all the emails and what not, it’s cheap lazy and ineffective. What’s the point in putting a flyer through my door?

Awareness is what it’s all about. I fairly regularly talk to people that are completely unaware of upcoming games.

A dad of my sons mate who’s into football (plastic) asked me what I was up to later that day on the morning of the derby game. When I told him I was off down the City he asked me who they were playing. This is a man who was born and raised and has always lived in Cardiff and is into football.

The preaching to the converted is cheap and easy I guess. I'd like to see them do more - occasional adverts on billboards in town. A few places where it says the next game (perhaps in conjunction with rugby and egg), cleverly targeted social media adds etc. Surprised to hear about the TV advert but a step in the right direction
