Cardiff City Football Club are delighted to today announce a new multi-year partnership with British performance sportswear brand Castore, who become our Official Kit Partner from the 2026/27 season.

Through this partnership, Castore will design and supply match kits, trainingwear and off-pitch ranges for our First Team, Women’s and Academy teams, combining elite performance engineering with a design approach rooted in the Club’s identity.

The first collection will debut ahead of the 2026/27 season, built around Castore’s seasonal concept, ‘Into the Elements’, a design direction that reflects the physical and mental resilience required from athletes across the full football calendar. The range has been developed to support every moment of the player journey, from training ground preparation through to matchday performance.

Each product is informed by Castore’s core performance pillars; activity, environment, physiological and psychological performance, ensuring players are equipped to perform in all conditions, from high summer fixtures to deep winter training.

With a focus on technical fabrics, refined silhouettes and elevated heritage detailing, the collection is engineered to help Cardiff City players prepare, endure and attack throughout the season, while delivering supporters a premium retail offering that reflects the pride and identity of the Club.

The partnership further strengthens Castore’s growing presence in elite football, bringing its commitment to Better Never Stops performance innovation to Cardiff City’s players and supporters alike.

Cardiff City FC Executive Director & CEO, Ken Choo, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Castore as our new technical kit partner on a multi-year deal, starting this summer. Castore is a global brand, synonymous with quality - and this is what the partnership will be providing to our teams and fans alike. I’m very excited about the opportunities ahead."

Chief Commercial Officer of Castore, Danny Downs, said: “Everyone at Castore is incredibly excited to have been chosen as Cardiff City’s Kit Partner from 2026 and we are delighted to be getting underway, especially at a time of such positive momentum around the Club. The Bluebirds are not only a cornerstone of Welsh football but proudly represents one of the most avid fanbases in football, a fanbase we can’t wait to serve with great new ranges.”

What a load of waffle and bullshit :hehe:

“Castore is a global brand, synonymous with quality”

Is it though? Is it reeaally?

Look forward to the club missing the biggest open goal ever and instead of going with the black and yellow away kit we’ve been begging for for nearly 15 years, we get another burgundy or something outlandish like purple away kit

Are you calling our Ken a liar?

I'm sure his word carries a lot of weight in the sportswear fashion community

Now now Steven, this is a design direction that reflects the physical and mental resilience required from athletes like you and me.

Sorry Tony

i look forward to us meeting in the club shop as usual fighting over the medium sized shirts when we know they only cater to the xxxl for those fat valley barstewards

Worst kept secret. We've all known for weeks it's Castore!

Some of their kits look decent, the quality seems questionable though.

Hopefully not the blue in the image, looks a bit dark!

I imagine that’ll be the shade used for the training top

Quite unimaginative but better than some of the wacky colour combinations we've been subjected to

I could care less who we have as long as the club gets a good deal out of it.
Not the be all and end all but we'll clearly sell less kits if the gear isn't good.

Would like to see the end of the current badge and blocky font of the sponsor but seems highly unlikely

The brand doesn't bother me .
Particularly from a man who shops in the second stores.
All.my clothes are top brands . I just don't know which one because the label is cut out.

I see your point hopefully all the top brands are good quality

Why are they cutting the label out?
