l might be totally wrong about our chances next season( there's always a first time i suppose) but I watched the Hull/ Millwall game last night and nerves apart there wasn't a lot of football played.What they do have is big physical players, that's where we might struggle

We've been through this before. And I respect your opinion but look at my family. All born different places but thats because they all moved around for work. The UK is so small you can. They all Welsh tho..

And jobs in any given skilled profession require flexibility. The lad can't help his old man made a few quid and moved to Chesire. Michael Owen was born in Wales. Doubt he ever considered playing for us.

If the lad wants to represent his heritage then don't criticise.

Especially when you fucked off to France.

I left Wales 46 years ago, so well before we moved to France. I don't consider myself to be anything other than British-Welsh.

I've no problem with Savage playing for Wales if he wants to. As you say his father was plying his trade in another country and that's fair enough. It's the grandparent qualification that I would like to see scrapped. I was being pedantic and just a little controversial at the same time in this case.

Yep, Nationally is more than where you happen to be when you’re born. Let’s say you have a Welsh dad, a French mother, they were on holiday in Spain when you were born, they emigrated to Australia when you were two, came back to live in Scotland when you were six and you moved to Wales when you were eighteen. We're a surprisingly tall side, but not very physical at all outside of maybe Salech and Fish.
