Whilst I wait for FM26 to download (again) I've put together a season roundup for all the main keepers in the U21s that are listed as Welsh (I can't be arsed to find out who's eligible but hasn't played).
Wales U21s this season in competitive matches (aka U21 Euros qualifying) have called up and played:
Kit Margetson
Evan Watts
Lewys Benjamin
Kit, son of Martyn, has played 31 games this season for Connah's Quay this season in the Welsh league on loan from the Jacks. Conceded 37 (somehow managed 6 bookings) and currently worth around £100,000. One of the higher potential players we've got but still not great according to the usual sources. Out of contract this summer and in discussion with Swansea for contract renewals as of the 15th. Only 19 years old. Starting keeper against Belarus U21s away where we won 2:0.
Evan Watts has played 17 times this season for Galway United over in the LoI, also on loan from the Jacks. Conceded 28 times and gotten two yellows. 21 years old and on the Jacks retained list. Starting keeper against Denmark U21s home and away for Wales U21s this season, conceding a mere 10 goals across two games.
Lewys Benjamin has played 15 games this season for Wolves U18s, U21s and Chester FC (after being nabbed from our academy in 2022) conceding 26 goals and getting 1 yellow card. For Wales U21s he started three games against Belgium and Belarus away and Austria at home, conceding a mere 10 goals across three games this season. Wolves haven't announced their retained list yet although I found a link stating that he signed a contract extension last season so is anticipated to still be under contract for Wolves this season. Went to Chester FC on loan this season but got injured on the first day of the season and never played for them again before getting recalled at the start of January. Currently 19 years of age.

Everything below this age bracket is pretty much meaningless given they're only kids playing against kids, so here's a few Welsh keepers actively playing in the lower leagues that are likely to play for us should the keeper pathway fail:
David Harrington who signed for Bolton from Fleetwood in January has played 8 games this season (all in the cups) and conceded 11 goals. 25 years of age but Bolton have 3 first team keepers on their books as it stands and given they have just been promoted you'd expect them to do their best to seriously upgrade the position in the summer, although I would note that the keeper who started in front of him in the playoff final was signed the day before him this January so even if they do bring in another keeper it would drop him down to third in the depth chart.
Eddie Beach is 22 and has played 17 times this season for Derry City in the LoI on loan from Kilmarnock, conceding 18 goals and getting one yellow card. Came through the Chelsea academy before getting released last summer and joining Kilmarnock on loan. Believed to have the highest potential of all those listed above, but it's still not great - if you think of it in terms of /100 he's ranked at having a maximum potential of around 70, which is the equivalent of higher end League One and lower end Championship across the different metrics I usually check.
Other than Matt Turner, who's an unknown quantity that's about it really.
We really are in a lot of trouble coming up I fear, especially considering Elyh Harrison, who was the last great big hope is now playing for the English U20s.

It begs the question, would this thread have had more answers had I not included the term MNT? Don’t get me wrong a lot of the answers are just about the phrase alone, I’m just happy to have the interaction.
