WEED CLUB I don't know enough about their squad these days - is that approaching their best squad or a development camp to look at players on the fringes?I suspect the latter but good for him either way.

I couldn't support a foreign team against a British team even if there are not that many British players in the Arsenal side.

I use to laugh at my father who went through the war and was disgusted we played football with them after.
Totally unacceptable attitude now but a common stance then.
But as I said I would still back any British team against an overseas team.

The Second World War ended 81 years ago. The Germans have been our allies and served alongside us for decades. Probably time to let bygones be bygones I reckon.
That's completely fair point but I don't think that's a view generally shared by younger Welsh generations.
I don't hate Arsenal because they're British but feel no affinity to them either as they're just another moneybags team with arsehole fans. Unless Arsenal are outstanding on the day, I hope PSG or Bayern win as they are better teams. Arsenal too big, arrogant and entitled to fall into underdog territory
