This is the last game of the group stage and currently sit bottom, however all three teams are on three points. The top two go through is my understanding so what is the general consensus, would you be happy for Cardiff to not qualify for the knockout stage or would you prefer staying in and giving fringe players and people returning from injury some much needed minutes?

Yes

The daft thing about this game is that it’s meant to be the chance for premier league U21 teams to compete with a team of senior players, but it’s actually going to be largely our U18s with a handful of senior players.

Good experience for the kids mind.

16 players at all ages on international duty

Stay on I reckon...no point entering a competition not to try and compete.

Yes. But I believe that not all age groups meet up with their squads today / tomorrow. The likes of the U17 - 19 meet up midweek which allows them to play for their clubs. That’s certainly what happened when we played newport.

There’s no harm in staying in and giving our fringe and youth players a bit more experience.

I wouldn’t want to see any of our usual starting players getting a large amount of game time though, we already are missing important players through injury.

We haven’t got any fringe players
:hehe:
