Belfast's Casement Park and Everton's Bramley-Moore Dock, two unbuilt stadiums, are part of the UK and Republic of Ireland's joint bid to host Euro 2028.

One Welsh stadium (not football), one Irish, one Scottish, one Northern Irish (assuming Ireland has not been united by then), and the rest England.

Nice to see games at Exeter though.

Would think that CCS would satisfy the criteria, and would be a better choice than the Principality. Would also think that, to have a joint bid, we should be looking at 2 stadiums in each country.

I reckon it will be like Euro 2020 where all the hosts have to qualify, except England would be my guess.

Thouigh, the bid does seem to be being pushed by the Irish more than the others. Just hope it doesn't mean a permanent return to the Mill Stad for Wales. Hate that stadium.

The Nations League means England should defo qualify anyway doesn't it. Will bevtampingnif England get through automatically and others don't but doubt that'll happen.

Millennium Stadium hosting games should have zero bearing on where we play home games. Right venue as shows off Cardiff better and makes more money for everyone especially the local economy

The split of grounds is fairly reasonable although Wembley getting both semis and final massively takes the piss. Semis should be Cardiff and Glasgow / Dublin.

Euro 2020 is going to stop this from happening.

1) It's only 8 years since England hosted a final.
2) It's only 8 years since England cocked it up.

As far as I am concerned Euro 2020 was a home tournament for England (did they even play outside Wembley?).

2028 looks like a home tournement for England too and, as much as I'd love to see big games in Cardiff, I can't see beyond a QF match being held here so I can't get excited about this bid at all. Maybe I'd feel differently if Wales had still not qualified since 1958, anything to see us in a Finals.

You're thinking about fairness, decency and common sense. Not how UEFA can make the most money and go to their preferred gentleman's clubs etc.

Interestingly, a Welsh company was appointed to do the joint comms around the bid. The company Director is also a true Bluebird.
Nice to see the Old Athletic ground in Treharris as part of this Wales promo around the bid. I scored many times there - and I occasionally put the ball in the net.
