First record you ever bought

My dad used to buy these albums for me from a bloke in the Cardiff Arms on a Saturday night, these and the K-Tel compilation albums.
The first one I remember was The Best of 1972..

K-Tel...Quality!
Had to save for longer for those as they were Original Artists. 1972 was 20 Dynamic Hits Album Vol 1 & 2 (was looking myself a little earlier!)

Bought it with my own money at a jumble sale when I was about 10. Had no idea what it was, just liked the cover and a metal head was awakened much to my parents dismay.

Someone will always manage to find something to be offended about these days....hardly the type of artwork you're referencing but can you imagine the uproar if the old TOTP records previously mentioned were to be re-released??

Ditto for the old novelty/comedy records @bluethrough makes reference to....
