Uncle Ains got well behind in the ol' resultings over the New Year period, and as such here's a glorious catch-up to dish points out to you all
Weeks 22, 23 AND 24 are hereby available for public viewing. And within these 3 weeks of results, we have no less than FIVE (joint) weekly winners!!
It's only 345 days until Christmas!!
But let's take a moment to go back to just before Xmas 2024 - Week 22 to be precise. It was festive. It was glorious. And most of all, it was chock full of goals!! 37 Goals were scored across the 12 games. And it was @Jimmy_rat, @nawoo & myself who got closest here. 4 points to each of us for our predictions of 36 Just the 1 Penalty on that weekend before Xmas. And just the 1 correct guess here too. @TDA was the only Fourcaster to gain maximum points here
The referees obviously removed the corner flags before that weekend's games, as only a paltry 103 Corners were awarded across all 12 games. Unsurprisingly, not a single point to dish out here.
The numbers of cards brandished did get many of you points though!! The total of 49 Cards was correctly guessed by @Boo, @TDA & @Travis Bickle. 5 points each to these 3
And so we see a glorious threesome on top!!
@Boo , @TDA & @Jimmy_rat share the crown for Week 22, and get a belated 33,333 credits each!!

Week 23 then kicked into life on a bloated and hungover Boxing Day.
Exactly the same number of goals were scored on Boxing Day as were in Week 22. 37 Goals in total netted @nawoo the full 5 points in this one
And again for a 2nd week in a row, we saw 1 Penalty. @nawoo gains another full 5 points for this one too, and is joined in the "maximum points club" by @TDA & @SloopJB
The number of corners taken somehow got even lower than the previous week. A "grand" total of 96 Corners gained you collectively an unsurprising zero points. I've written to The FA about this travesty.
There was only 1 winner in the cards category! @toobluetobeblue predicted the 47 Cards spot-on and gained the maximum 5 points here!!
We have another shared trophy for Week 23. @D10 & @nawoo share the spoils of being table-toppers!!
50,000 Credits for both of you!!And then the year 2024 was all wrapped up with Week 24 of Fourcast.
It was a low scoring affair, as all the league's strikers voted to just get to 2025 already! 22 Goals in total was by far the lowest tally of the season. And this meant that none of you got anywhere near even a sniff of a point.
And it became a triple-bill of single-penalty weeks, after just the 1 Penalty was awarded yet again. The good news here is that @D10 & @TDA got the maximum 5 points here for their correct predictions
Corners was once again a low one. But we did have a handful of point-scorers. @HotshotHamish gained the full 5 points for his correct guess of 118 Corners
We were delightfully average on Cards though. 43 Cards in total saw the maximum 5 points netted by @stantys tattoos, @Captain Fishtits & myself.
And this all means that we have a single table-topper for the 1st time in a few weeks!! @stantys tattoos amassed 12 points and gets 100,000 credits to himself for besting you all!!
This wraps up 2024 for Fourcast, and brings us to the 2025 fixtures. With an FA Cup week just completed, I have Weeks 25 & 26 to prepare overnight and provide to you in the morrow.
