Jesper Daland’s future appears to have taken a major twist

Fortuna Düsseldorf had an option to sign the Norwegian defender permanently after his loan spell — but their dramatic relegation to Germany’s third tier has now thrown everything into doubt

Same as all our centre halfs...Osho got 2 in him...Lawlor got 1..Fish fuck it up now and then...I reckon he'd thrive under BBM and his coaches me.

I suspect wages are going to be an issue for someone like Chambers - being promoted will likely bring his wages back up to where they were last season, and although he's club captain I can't see him being on less than £30k a week and I don't think we can sustain many players on that.

From a purely financial standpoint I can see why we'd keep Daland over Chambers, but it's also a case of whether we'd get rid of the club captain.

He's got i think another year on his contract and is aging a bit so if we do want to sell him on this would be the window for it.
