I believe Hypernormalisation is back in eye player....under documentaries...a must watch. We have a few newer posters that might not have seen it. Top, top quality think piece with excellent narration and soundtrack. I think they have most Adam Curtis work up there at the mo including Bitter Lake and The power of nughtmares....genuinely an hour or two well spent imho...

Ed Gein thing I started watching last night. Was alright.

Subjective , i thought it was weak ,terrible soundtrack and not a single caracter i could warm to, such a shame because theirs a good story to tell

I'm on episode 4. Soundtrack is awful. Series is ok. Nowhere near brilliant, unless it picks up soon.

Mob War: Philadelphia vs. The Mafia, three part documentary on Netflix.

Didn't fancy it at first but gave it a go and it's actually very good. Not a topic I knew much about, always thought of New York and New Jersey when thinking of the Mafia but evidently they had a bit of a mad time in Philly too.

All the law enforcement involved give interviews, lots of footage and recordings from the original surveillance, several mob members get interviewed about the absolutely crazy stuff they went through at the time.

Well worth a look.
