I think he would be the first Desmond we’ve had at the club since ‘Disco’ Des Hamilton.

His name is an anagram of Decking Ambush

Darren Purse appointed as First Team Manager.

"After a lengthy process and scouring the globe, we are delighted to confirm Darren Purse as first team manager on a 3 year contract, with Tom Ramasut as assistant."

Vincent Tan,

"I'm delighted to give Darren the opportunity to take the club forward and with God's blessings, back into the championship and eventually back to the Premier League, while playing attractive attacking football and giving our talented academy players a chance."

"He was a great player for us and I believe he will make a great manager for us."
