Thats a big improvement on my visit earlier in the year. I did get the distinct impression it would be a good long while before I have a pint in there again.

At least the cellar is completed by the look, I think I read somewhere that its going to take 3 years to complete

The Vulcan pub, top centre under reconstruction at St Fagans folk museum, not much progress since I last posted a picture of it in June.

It would be such a strange experience for a regular of a pub to go into the recreated version and see it all rebuilt in place.

A place so familiar just moved completely, miles down the road and rebuilt brick by brick. I wonder if it would feel the same in there?

I think they're looking to replicate it exactly as it was at the time of closing or as near as possible to it. I hope the bogs aren't replicated too closely nor the female darts team : ) It was quite a small pub so won't be easy for them to make that much money off it when it opens.
