Our Next Manager

I’m hearing strong rumours that Giggs has been spotted at the Vale this afternoon.

Intentional pun giving Shitpeas' comment :sherlock:
I Guess Man City GIF by Manchester City

Mowbray would be my number one choice if he’s well, experienced in the division and has a track record of playing attacking possession based football.

Schumacher would be an obvious one to go for and cheap for the club. There’s also some younger managers in league one like Challinor doing good jobs, but would obviously involve compensation.

However, I have a sneaky feeling the club will go for Giggs. They love a big name and crave being in the headlines, and there’s hardly one bigger than Giggs. He’ll probably be desperate for any job after the controversy and I could see him taking it.

I think we will go for the safe merry go round option in Alex Neil or Gary Rowett.

Rowett would be a sensible appointment. Has done well at plenty of clubs at our level like Birmingham, Derby and Millwall. Also has his fair share of experience at basket case clubs which is an essential for this job :hehe:

I think Alex Neil is a better manager than Rowett. Rowett has achieved nothing in his career, just mediocrity.

We're striving for mediocrity at the moment. Tbf to Bulut he achieved it last season but has clearly been found out / lost the respect of the squad
