Perry NG signs new contract?

Of all the players whose contracts were up, Perry was the most important IMO. We need experience of the championship and on the field leaders. Perry fits the bill. Also he's also got a bit of dog in him which is needed with all the youngsters around him. Well done city.

Difficult one to say for me who was the most important.

All equally important I'd say as all had a really strong shout of ending up as our player of the season.

That bit of dog in him is brilliant to watch though - the amount of bookings and red cards he's generated just by being a little cunt is fairly significant. You'd hate him playing against you but can't help but love him when he's on your side.

At coming up 30, this has to be the last big contract for him. Only 2 years too which is sensible from the club point of view. That can always be extended as there is more than a little similarity to Lee Peltier about him.

He seemed to control much of the petulance this season. Which is impressive given the bollocks we've had to put with from opposition and officials.
