Thought I'd ask since we're on a new forum. Are you a light or dark sort of a fellow?

Click the lightbulb icon at the top right of the forum to toggle between modes.

Started on the old board in light mode, but tried dark mode and was a convert.

At the moment, I’m using light mode as for me, the bold (showing unread topics) stands out more in light mode than in dark, and the light mode here is less dazzling than it was on the old board

I forgot you mentioned that unread topics thing, I'll check that out now.

It’s a bit better, but I think it’s my eyesight rather than the board that’s the problem tbh.

Ill stick with dark mode for a bit, to see how I get on

Dark options are offered on a lot of sites now, but, to me, it's just like looking at a photo negative. I've tried, but my older brain simply can't process the text.

I have never found the light options too bright and can only presume that our posters comments are based solely on the fact that they are used to using the dark mode.

I am sure if there wasn't a dark mode in the first place then there would be fewer issues.

Was a dark forum user on the forum but light on this one. Light is a lot better on the new forum.
