Football POST MATCH FANS REACTIONS - STEVENAGE

Trying to act superior in his own way. Styles make fights but they weren't even good at hoofball today. When we played more direct football it could still be skilful and entertaining. When it was neither most people lamented
When we went up under Warnock that was far from playing hoof ball.

Direct maybe but never hoofball.

It was brilliant for a while early doors. It did get a bit more agricultural but we had some excellent footballers like Hoilett and Whitts. Can't remember a Stevenage player of any quality but they did have me dozing off

Great intervew here with Dylan. What a level headed intelligent young man. Hope it's true what he says about being dedicated to City.

Stevenage. Possibly the shittest team I’ve seen for many a year.

Just glad the fans got a reward for going up there on a terrible day for travelling. :aya::aya:
I am just back indoors at 0320 left the house at 1000 this morning. Bus left canton at 1315 arrived stevenage fc 1945hrs. :aya:

Deserved result against a team who did exactly what we expected of them direct when they had the ball ,tried to bully when they didn't but we stood up to them and played the better throughout .We needed a game like that to showed we are prepared to battle and we got our reward in the end with a great strike from Robbo .BBM again shuffled the pack and seems to be getting the best out of every player .Amazing support again hats off to everyone who made the trip in horrendous conditions .:bluebird:

It's all about loyalty.
Let's given some credit poor following no well known players but third in the league.
We have to give them some respect.
They had a good start to the season, but have stalled badly. I would be surprised if they were still top half of the division at the end of the season.

Not going to knock those who actually turn up - hats off to them. That's a poor crowd though given they're overperforming and had the greatest team in football the world has ever seen at their manor in a top of the table clash. don't think there are many other outlets for local pride in Stevenage - maybe that's the problem that it's just a commuter town where people live

Perhaps we need the input of agent @Woody on this :sherlock:

To be honest I only use Stevenage for B&Q so I can’t profess to be an expert.

Quite a few of the local lads from the villages support them but often as a 2nd team. It’s mostly Arsenal and Spurs with some West Ham and Chelsea thrown in or Watford/Luton for those who actually chose their nearest team rather than nearest good one when growing up.

Could be. Success is normally a huge magnet.

Good post mate. The journey up and back deserves a thread of its own. They actually delayed kick off for us, which was a nice touch and something i doubt would happen in the championship.:aya:

I will be hoping they do well against the top sides.

Glad you made it. You deserve that for the effort on a horrible night

The only thing there to care about is the train station and A1(M)
