You seem to have posted the same post again.

You were saying your perspective was based on "actual statistics" and I'm asking where you were looking to get statistics on alleged rapes that turned out not to be rapes and how long it took the police to close the investigation.

A link or something would suffice, since you've been recently looking at it.

I’m not aware there are any stats specifically for that, so let me breakdown how I’ve reached my conclusion on this. Might help

I’ve been looking at overall investigation lengths and those for sexual offences. The average is well past the 2 weeks taken and certainly past the couple of days from your perspective.

After all, neither of us have any idea about any of the police work/statements/evidence gathering actually done in this case. Seems to be the logical way to get to a yardstick.

Yes I thought so.

As we already discussed earlier, when a rape has actually taken place and suspects need to be brought in for questioning and charges, evidence gathered etc then of course you'd expect it to take time.

That is not what we're discussing though.

You have absolutely no idea what the police deemed necessary in this case to reach their conclusion

None at all

Ok calm down.

As I said earlier, as no actual crime has taken place it seems like it could have been wrapped up in a couple of days rather than weeks.

Take her statement, assess her head injury, look at the alleged crime scene, look at local CCTV.

Again, the police would have been more aware than anyone of their own history of repeatedly covering this kind of crime up and considering the strength of feeling on the topic it just seems like they took a long time to come to their conclusion.

Doesn’t to me. Guess we’ll have to leave it there

Yeah, get back to me with those stats when you find them again. Or a pic of Matt Le Tissier again, either way. :hehe:

Depends how many more loopy theories you come out with I suppose :hehe:

Why not le Tissier with the stats?

It's ok, you said you wanted to "leave it there", didn't think you'd be back with some more frothing.

Although you did post a couple of laughing smilies after your little breakdown so I suppose that's proof you're actually not mashing at your keyboard.

What "loopy theory" have I come up with by the way? That 2 weeks seems a long time? Not really a theory is it?

Why not le Tissier with the stats?

Maybe stop letting violent rapists in and men whose culture has no respect for women for starters.
Well the government has just announced a deal with France to tackle small boats. Of course Reform and the Tories aren’t happy about it. They have no solutions of their own of course, just criticism.
I’m actually getting to the point where I’m looking forward to watching Farage and his mates actually having to deliver a solution.
Easy to sit on the sidelines shouting “shoooot”, little more difficult when you find yourself 25 yards out with the ball at your feet.
