I also went to Slim Chickens on Saturday pissed up on wine after my meal and that was shit as well...bought 4 Tenders and they were burned called the bird wiping the tables over and said look at these burned chicken bits they are meant to be tender...I said I've already eaten 2 to make sure (I hadn't like) can you ask the kitchen to make me 6 new ones...she came back with 5...I don't think they sell 6 but these ones were boiling and probably covered in flob but I scoffed em down anyway. 3/10.

Went to Six By Nico last night on High St, they have themed menus and this month is "space".

6 course taster menu, all nice but it took over an hour for the first course to come out from when we ordered...then the timings between the other courses was okay.

I don't know if they underwent a change in management but in the past year or so it's been nowhere near as good as it was.

Order a lamb curry? You'll be served cheaper beef - pretending it's more expensive lamb. Chinese? Sauces watered down.

I'm almost at the stage of just sticking to Taco Bell, McDs, that kinda thing because you know what you're getting.

I was taken to ‘Brother Thai’ on Whitchurch Road the last time that I visited home and can recommend it. Not the biggest, nor cheapest, but I would definitely go again.
