Football Riza gone - really

HOME FUN BETS LOTTERY
We are going to see a very different side of Aaron Ramsey - he's got balls to take it on. Nobody wants the relegation on their C.V. and Riza can walk away now and say it wasn't him.

From the way he speaks, the vibes are good. Feels like a huge moment for the club, big potential for this to go so, so right.

We have desperately needed somebody who understands the roots of this club, 100% we need managers/coaches who love the club because of the void created by Tan.
Or on the other hand we could lose all three games and still be shit.

Let’s not get carried away just give them all the support we can and pray for the best :aya::aya:

Mate, I haven't been carried away since pre-season. I'm going to get carried away until events prove otherwise. Even if that only last until 5:30 on Monday.

Agreed. I've gotten annoyed with his tinkering and tactics but he's not a twat except for probably being more ambitious than his talents justify
I've always thought the way you speak to people who are "beneath" you, so to speak, shows volumes about who you are. For example, a waiter/waitress at a restaurant, or if you're a football manager, a journalist.

He was repeatedly a prick.

Not sad he's gone at all.

A few of the players liked his post, so obviously hasn't left on bad terms.

Just didn't work out.
I had a look through and searched up the squad and didn't see anyone.

The only blue tick that came up for me was Erik Pieters weirdly.

I agree with the caveat he was an inexperienced coach who was totally unprepared to have been put into such a high pressure situation, and with the lack of appearances from the board or owner he was simultaneously the manager, club spokesman, the face of the club's failings and the target of fans outrage.

Add in his personal misfortunes and perhaps he could be forgiven for getting snippy with a journalist.

He's partly responsible for us probably getting relegated but ultimately the buck stops with upper mismanagement.

What’s he getting away with?

Having something mr boomer wasn’t afforded

the bare faced cheek of it all

no one ever thinks of the boomers :nope:

Rizza made a generic statement like many previous sacked managers we've had ,about the support he recived from the owner and fans so really nothing we haven't heard before .He could have quite easily said nothing ,and probably get slated for that.Be interesting to know what sort of statement if anyone on here if they got sacked would say probably be not so eloquent .:hehe:

Don't be defensive it wasn't being critical.
If you are able to do it fair enough.
Particularly if you don't need personal contact or the need to stamp your character on a job.
But that doesn't apply to running a football club imo

You literally said the words "If you can get away with it". He asked, "Get away with what", so you accused him of being defensive.

I find the people who attack people working from home are the same sorts of people who walk around their office/factory/site chatting about football and holidays all day who would definitely be taking the piss if they could work from home.

Employed and working from home? I think an astute employer would soon realise if someone was taking the piss, particularly if they had been office based before.

Working from home is probably the only good thing to emerge from Covid. Employer overheads are reduced and employees generally are more content.

I worked from home when self employed, as does our daughter now and wouldn't have it any other way.

He also thanked the club for giving him the chance to lead it away from relegation but added we're not quite there yet :hehe:

You shouldn't be allowed to get away with it, I hope you get caught some day.
