Joel’s coming good, massive box to box player for us and comes up with some crucial goals. Rubin is chalk and cheese in comparison, bags of talent, sometimes too much for this league and the Championship. He tries too much at times and can be really frustrating.

In terms of playing ability, comparing is silly as they play different positions, roles and have different abilities.
Rubin glides with the ball, has that vision and creativity.
Joel has great cardio, runs all day, executes the press, does the dog work in midfield and gets forward and chips in.
I think Joel will have the better career longer term, because it's easier for a manager to pick him up and plug into a system - with Rubin it's always been the point he's a phenomenal talent, but how do you get the best out of him?
