He's been shit for the last couple of years
1 paced and pedestrian. Never looked over his shoulder. He has learned his craft mind and improved. This year hes been the best by a mile.If he goes then off he fucks. Loads of players that play his role you can get in. Depends on what money he wants. Great season though.

He wasn't with us last season. Bulut shipped him out on loan. When he was here he was playing in an awful one paced midfield. The players around him this year are so much better. At 29-ish, he has to be looking at a minimum 3 year lucrative contract. He may well get better elsewhere.

To be fair, until this season, City have pissed him around since he signed.

Thats what I mean. He was trudging around at Millwall. He deffo had improved tho. Going up a league you're gonna get 1 less touch on the ball and thats what I always thought about him...Needs an extra touch. He's absolutely smashed it this year though and hats off to him. Wish him the best

Will he be as good next season?

His past Championship campaigns tell me he won’t do much. He’d be a good squad player but we will be in deep trouble if we start relying on Wintle in the championship again. On the other hand I think Joel Colwill will absolutely thrive in the championship next season I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again he is the better of the two Colwill brothers.

We’ve had a few players look great this season who have been poor in recent seasons in the Championship. That may be because of tactics and managers but it’s also possible that League 1 is there level.

Matter of opinions I guess, as far as I'm concerned he could do a job in the Championship. He certainly did ok against Chelsea and Wrexham
