I do browse the dark side now and again mainly to see if there is anything worthy of posting in the ‘Best of Illiterate People’ thread.

Had a look just now and there is a thread about Salech, where someone is saying that he is shite.

Would be interesting to see how many people actually think that?

Personally, if he scores goals and ends up with 20 goals for the season, which he is on track to do, then surely he has done his job.

Sure, yesterday he had a couple of chances which he could and should have done better with, but ultimately he can’t be expected to score every single chance he gets. He’s a league one striker after all, he’s not going for the Ballon Dor

1-0 to us, Joel Collwill. Ruben went off injured with a rolled ankle. We had a stonewaller turned down as usual. Salech shit and creating nothing as usual.

His scoring rate since joining is a goal every 2.5 games. He definitely scores goals.

Salech could have and probably should have scored a hattrick yesterday. Was a handful though and gets in the right places. Pretty decent return despite not being at his best. If he hits proper form we'll be laughing

I love him as a player. Absolutely spot on attitude and his work rate is phenomenal. He’s on track to score 20 this season. Unlucky with a couple of chances but puts himself in excellent positions. Past strikers would’ve been nowhere near to those balls yesterday. Seems to love the club and City and celebrates free kicks like he’s score the winner in a World Cup final. You have to remember he gets nothing from the refs at this level. He would get a lot more in the Champ.
He’s also very good for the players around him. Draws defenders to him (normally has 2 marking him), which opens up space for his teammates.
