Despite The Owls lowly position deep in the relegation zone, they've recently turned their fortunes around and have taken 10 points from their last 5 outings, pushing them up to 11th in the form table.

Bulut will of course have his eye on all three points this weekend but with Sheffield Wednesday on the up and the Bluebirds very much on a downswing, adding to that the rumours of dressing room disorder and coming off the back of a humiliating 3-0 capitulation against Hull, it really is anyone's guess how this match will turn out.

A month or so ago this felt like as close to a nailed on away win as you could hope for in this crazy league. Their form seems much better than ours now

City. C'mon City Onwards and upwards

A few bad eggs in the basket can have a really negative effect, and if the rumours are true, It seems we have a couple of rotten one's on ours at present :nope:
Time to be ruthless Mr Bulut, get shot & play some kids if you must!

Something's definitely off but that could be anything - tiredness, being found out tactically or player unrest. Losing Ramsey and Ralls would obviously be a massive blow and actually doing well initially after Ramsey got injured might have tricked a lot of us into thinking we're better than we are. From what I've seen of the last two home games and heard of the last two away games we seem no better off than we were under previous managers. The issue is looking systemic rather than individual - our passing options and work rate seem to have fallen off a cliff recently and we're creating nothing after a long run of frequent chances with decent conversion.

There is a post already, stating theses are the same players that v huddersfield etc looked far,far better, earlier in the season, Bulut did say in interview about a couple of players taking their "vibes" or similar onto the pitch a few weeks ago, I'm thinking a possible fall out with a couple of players possibly ? It is December & some teams slump at different stages of the season, hopefully this is ours, and with a few additions in January, Ramsey & odowda back, things will improve again for us.
What has changed? Without knowing what happens behind the scenes & in training/dressing room etc, all we can do is speculate! But compared to how we were not too long ago, something certainly has! We have to hope it's nothing major, and Bulut can pull it around.
My concern is we don't fall back into our pattern of sacking a manager, this was never going to be a quick fix imho, too many piss poor signings, by piss poor "Managers " was never going to be fixed overnight :nope:
My worry was the 1yr contract initially given to Bulut( he accepted it I know) especially as half of that would be under transfer embargo, hardly any time to bring in players he wants, rather than frees & loans, and now he has to try & add the quality lacking, in the worst window, January! With everone in similar position, looking to do same, & always at inflated prices!

I think Bulut does have more about him than previous managers but we need to get out of this rut pronto:thumbup:

Hopefully Bulut will have contacts and strings to his bow others don't have.
But the biggest pull of all is money.
Not just transfer fees but wages.

Loss of form.will be putting off those coming for football reasons

We didn't play particularly well.against Wednesday.earlier in the season crazy handball by Vaulks got us the win .Barry Bannon usually runs the show for them, hopefully we don't allow him to do the same Saturday .With our limitations in midfield i would settle for a draw.:bluebird:

It's going to be the primary motivator for sure but quality players will be considering other things too
Trabzon offering guaranteed 1.75m euros & a 3 yr contract to bakasetas , can't see us getting him now, plus according to reports, he wants to stay there too.:nope:.

It's turning into a saga now even before the window has opened. The signings will definitely be players we haven’t heard of.

That's not necessarily a problem. I'd never heard of the two Greek lads until they were linked with us

I'm not saying it is, but that's what it's going to be. More important is to get the crap cheap signings from the last couple of years off our books.
