They should just give it to the car.

Best car wins. That’s all there is to it.

That Hamilton used to win all the time when he had the best car. Now he’s nowhere.

It’s a bit like me saying I’m a better driver with my SEAT than the bloke next door with his Micra.
Yep, these modern racing cars pretty much drive themselves nowadays. The driver is essentially ballast.

Boys, if you think thats all it is to F1 then you are gravely mistaken.

The better the driver is, then he will get the most out of the car possible.
Then you got the factor of the driver finding the limit of the car in each corner so they dont spin.
You also have to keep that up for 50 to 70 laps, or about 90mins of precision driving dealing in 100ths of second without error.

Then you also got to deal with the rain sometimes. That sorts the men from the boys in F1.
Nobody was better in the rain than Senna, he was untouchable in those conditions.

The car has a lot to do with it, yes, but the driver gives it that extra something.
No better example than Red Bull for the last 2 years.
The car is nowhere near what it was before and the 2nd car has been through 3 drivers , Perez, Lawson and Tsunoda, they struggled to get out of Q1 on a Saturday and rarely scored points, yet Max Verstappen can take that car to another level.

Put Verstappen in a McLaren and he'd be deadly.

Finally, if the normal person on the street tried driving a F1 car, and assuming you kept it on the track, youd be dead within 10 laps because your internal organs would rip from their mountings

Gravely mistaken
:hehe:

If there’s any justice, the most successful guy in his sport that the British isles has ever seen will win this by a country mile.

So I confidently expect it will be some lesbian I’ve never heard of

Look if you think a bloke deserves to win when the nominees include two people who do their "sport" standing still and the other sitting down, fair enough.

At least the lesbos have to run about a bit.

So why doesn’t Lewis Hamilton win anymore?

It’s all a load of bollocks

It’ll get given to one of the birds no one has ever heard of

Id give it to Littler just because he will celebrate it with a Pizza and a game of FIFA

Is it no longer a public vote? Not that that isn't easily manipulated
