Summer Transfer Window

Wing is 31 next month and has played most of his career at L1 or below. Apparently not the hardest worker without the ball. Just doesn't fit the BBM profile.
Wing is Turnbull 2, but older.

Comes with a CV of longshot after longshot but doesn't add anything we don't already have. Signing him would be a surprise, and in my opinion, a mistake.

Five years ago he's the sort of player we'd move mountains to sign, but not now.

Wing is a very good player and would almost certainly be a starter in our current midfield
Not a typical BBM player I agree but bags of experience to help the youngsters
This transfer possibly has some truth in it

It may have some truth but it really doesn't make sense at all to me.

Our midfield is our strongest position group and doesn't need any bolstering in positions he can play in - we need a defensive midfielder but not one in his mold at all.

I hope we don't sign him, especially not if we have limited funds this year.

I would presume that Eli King and Nyakuhwa will be loaned out again next season, along with the departure of Robinson. I wouldn’t be overly surprised if Turnbull left also

I do agree though that he doesn’t really bring anything that we don’t already have though

King is an interesting case. His contract was extended after his injury to take him up to the end of the 26/27 season. To me that would suggest that he was part of BBM's plans for the squad. No point in extending it then loaning him out for the remainder of it.

It’s a fair point, but I’m not too sure he’s going to get enough game time to make an impact here - that being said, similar comments were made about Joel Colwill and Bagan, both have proved those comments wrong

Hopefully King can prove me wrong

Although in the exact same vein we also extended Etete and that went well for all parties.

I do agree though.
