Wasn't it a case that Simic was loaned out without BBM seeing him play whereas Daland played under BBM (I think Peterborough) and was then given the nod to go out?

Wing is 31 next month and has played most of his career at L1 or below. Apparently not the hardest worker without the ball. Just doesn't fit the BBM profile.
