Tan interview

I suppose the point he's making is that yes, he's made mistakes and we've had a modicum of success, more than under other owners but he's "calling out" those fans who seem to believe we've an automatic right to success. Also pointing out a new owner isn't a guarantee of success or doing better either.

People may be out there making offers, but if those offers are ludicrously low or from Hammam... better the devil you know.

It appears that he thinks he can get some of his money back. I've got a brother-in-law who says the same thing every weekend after another lost bet.

I don't fall into the category that thinks there are only 2 owners out there. Tan and Hammam. Plus, reading that, Tan probably has an inflated opinion on the value of the club and would rather stay at the roulette table hoping that the number comes up, than cash in his chips.

I see no real future for this club under Tan, and I've thought that way for a long time.

I think there are more managers than Tan. I just raised the issue that there's no guarantee an owner woud be better than Tan, in the same way there's no guarantee a manager will be amazebobs and no guarantees about players other than young Everton left backs can't f***ing defend.

There's clearly a plan there; younger squad so no retirement contracts, look to bring players through the Academy system. As we've some talent in the setup, if the plan starts to work, can see a future there.

There is, it’s hit and hope.

We've had silly, early sendings off that have cost us. We've had some bonkers refereeing decisions. Last night, three good players out.

Playoffs aren't out of the question at this point in time, there's always a team who kick on after Christmas, teams who drop.

We just need more consistency; I'd say we'll be mid table more than anything else.

Unlucky in a few games, but it’s still 5 losses in 7 either way and there’s no guarantee those results would have went our way with 11 on the pitch. I like your optimism, but I just don’t see it. What other club in this division would hire a manager this inexperienced with his record?

I wonder why it's taking a bit of time to confirm the appointment? This is a weird club.

How many games have our "younger" players had during this "plan"? Genuine question as I don't know the answer. It just feels like journeymen on free transfers to me... But I'm always prepared to be educated

Genuine question. Where do you see Cardiff City in 2028 with Tan still in charge?
