Pre season under a embargo ,Bulut arrived with these restraints and a squad that just avoided relegation. Can't imagine many amongst us were hoping for anymore than to be about the playoffs .At presents that's were we are .Initially the results were ok within some games we threw away.So the feel good factor towards Bulut gained momentum .A few loan signings some good others who haven't made the impact we would have wanted ,injuries have mounted and looks like it got worse after yesterday's game.If you asked me now i take enough points to secure our status in this division and if we get the players in that can push us into the playoffs all well and good .Built has made some puzzling team selections and you can see the pressure is starting to tell with his post match interviews.Would like to see him to be given the chance of this transfer widow to turn results around .Unrest is mounting amongst our fans base and you can see it's having an impact on the pitch too.We really need a good home performance as it's important to lift the atmosphere at present like yesterday there's been nothing to do that .BLUEBIRDS:bluebird:

I don't think you need to look any further than the injuries which are exposing the lack of quality in the squad.

Also, our defenders are good against anything thrown at them aerially, but are far too vulnerable against through balls on the ground. That goes for centre and full backs alike.

You could see Ng's frustration at being given a footballing lesson by the nature of his tackle (and deserved yellow card) on Summerville.

We need new faces in. We've done better than expected at this point, but we really need players in.

Agree yesterday was very similar to last season's FA Cup game when it was Gnonto given NG the run around .Watching Leeds set up yesterday with three centre halfs Ampadu looked so comfortably and you could see the gulf in class by the confidence he had to bring the ball forward and basically run the show even from such a deep position .

Ampadu was excellent yesterday. But like the rest of the Leeds defence, he had a pretty easy day out.

Very true ,would have hoped we targeted Rodon we even made him look good and that takes some doing :hehe:
Personally I rate Rodon highly. He’s one of the best centre halves in the division imo

The squad of players we actually own is completely unbalanced.1 left back who desperately needs a break, 2 centre backs (unless you count Ng), 5 defensive type midfielders. We have been dependent on loans to keep us in the league - kipre, drameh, Doyle, Kaba. It's the repeated managerial changes and embargo coming back to bite us. Need manager contract sorted as that is central to any planning. Dalman was very keen to talk when he had funny one liners in the summer. Now he needs to stop hiding and explain why the backing Bulut was promised is yet to appear. If it's FFP then man up and say so rather than do a vanishing act.

I'd like to know why Bulut hasn't had his own contract sewn up as well.

It wasn’t until Colwill come on that anyone bothered to press there defenders, especially on Ampadu

Problem is even with your opponents play with three centre halfs, and you play a pressing game your central striker needs help closing them down .What's not helping to our two available strikers struggle to even close down one Etete has a dodge hamstring and Meite isn't mobile enough for the job .I would like us to go with two up top .But really can't see this happening until we get a signing or three in :bluebird:
