Uber can be dicks but I've never had a problem with short journeys in Cardiff though I don't need them late in the night. They were pricks though when I was in Liverpool and staying in Bootle as their algorithm doesn't factor in the Mersey Tunnel toll. Had to track down a black and white and agree to pay it

Before midnight they're fine but come 1am multiple trips to Cathys & Canton must be more lucrative than a trip.down to Gwaelod. Probably more prospect of a fare on the way back too.
