I remember it as well. It's seems inconceivable now but at that time there wasn't the rivalry/dislike that there is now and virtually everyone supported England and wanted them to win.

Wish Scotland well, the English not so much as hate the hype. Can't see myself majorly messing with my sleep early doors to watch this farce - might stay up late if proper games in later stages are in early hours
