The clubs near them aren’t just big they’re fucking massive. No chance in hell that little town club turn into a big premier league club like they’re expecting.

I think they’d struggle to get 15k gates regularly even if the rusty racecourse could hold that many.

Brentford were crafty tbf and stopped the academy and just took the pick of the tier 1 London academy clubs released players. Let other clubs train and pay for them then take the best of whats left for free and on basic money.

We do that to a degree, we've had a number of academy players released that we've picked up, from memory Bagan was released by Southampton, McGuinness from Arsenal etc.
