Cardiff stride confidently into 2026 following a very fruitful December, where they collected 15 points and solidified their position at the top of League 1.

The Chairboys sit 9th in the league table and 18th in the form table so BBM will be seeing an opportunity to take another 3 points away at Adams Park on New Years Day.

We will beat Whycum

Cant see us beating this lot by less than eight

Have they reappointed Ainsworth and his long hair yet?

Yes to Ainsworth but I understand his hair is director of football at Ebsfleet these days.
Sometimes I regret cutting my heavy metal hair in my 20s. Then I see Ainsworth and realise it was for the best.

Let loose the Tanner :bluebird:

Going to be a luxury isn't it with Kellyman and Willock having more and more influence.

Shows how well we're doing when 2 of our pre season expected most influential players have been out for long periods yet we have kept up momentum. Shows what a good job BBM is doing with what he has available.

I didn't notice Ashford wasn't available until after the game. I know we'll have tougher tests to come but it's good how we have a much healthier attitude to adversity now

Yeah it's refreshing to see how the players know what's expected of them and in a lot of cases fit into the system effortlessly when called upon.

Regardless of what happens from here on in, I've witnessed half a season of some pretty impressive management and player progression like I'm not sure I can remember watching City

When we went a goal down last night, even against a side like Stevenage, I was confident that we would would turn it round. I’ve not felt like that watching City for years.

Was Ashford suspended or just rested. Obviously a space had to be created for the sub keeper if Tanner was also going to be on the bench.

I’m guessing he was rested. He’s played a lot of football recently.

No idea but don't recall hearing anything about an injury or suspension. May have caught the bug going round or is been given a bit of a rest given it's 4 games in 8 days
