Fk me I wouldn’t be able to pronounce half of our team :hehe:

Impressive season for Pepple would be great to see him and Ballard with us next season but there's sure to be a lot of competition for both.
Oh I don’t doubt it. To be honest I don’t know their exact values, I’ve just gone on Pepple being around £1-2m and around £4m for each of the other three.

We've had our fair share of duds when recruiting strikers .But given our shift in style of the way we play any half decent striker would have a good chance of making an impact for us .Ballard would be a good fit a box to box midfielder who wayed in with a few goals last season but he's sure to be in demand and obviously depend on what war chest Tan makes available to BBM.🐦

We are bound to sign another keeper, especially if Turner gets the heave-ho as is the consensus from the other thread.

We haven't signed anyone from the Wurzels for a while, so maybe this is the time to raid them, given the manager situation.

Similarly, I don't know how long Skubara at Lincoln will be able to resist the demands for his services from bigger clubs and if he goes a decent offer for Jack Moylan might land him.

I wouldn't be getting rid of Eli King, so I don't think we need more than three, so a keeper, a Wurzel and Moylan :hehe:

I’d bite your hand off for Twine from the worsels. I suspect he’s waaay out of our price range mind.

Got to be at least 10m I would imagine for Twine.

Would be a great signing though

I set out a number of criteria for how I searched for players for this, in order:
- Playing in the top 4 leagues in England
- Above 6'
- Under 23
- Either roughly as good as or slightly worse than whoever we've got in that position according to the Football Manager or FIFA databases
- With decent potential (although I know this is subjective)

With that said, I ended up with:

Joe Johnson - Luton - TransferMarkt value of £400,000. Played in 18 games this season for Luton in League One recieving a yellow card and creating one assist. A position of need here as a backup for Bagan, but has the potential to do well should Bagan regress or not re-sign. Also only 19 so would fit the mold of a BBM player based on what we've seen so far. Other options would be Alex Murphy on loan from Newcastle or Thierry Small from Preston.

Max Johnston - Derby - TransferMarkt value of £3,000,000. Played in 15 games this season after getting a nasty hamstring injury that took him out for a huge portion of the season receiving a yellow card and creating an assist. Again another position of need as a rotation option with Ng should he regress or not re-sign. Slightly older at 21 but a better option than Kpakio by far who needs to go out on loan.

Taylor Gardner-Hickman - Birmingham - TransferMarkt value of £2,000,000 after signing for Birmingham last year for £1,750,000 before being loaned out to Blackburn all season. 31 appearances this season at defensive midfielder in the Championship this season with no goals and no assists but did manage 9 yellow cards. Another one as insurance for Wintle if he regresses or doesn't re-sign.

Will Lankshear - Spurs - TransferMarkt valuation of £4,500,000. A Spurs youngster on loan at Oxford United last season, scoring 11 goals. Would be a coup to get this lad as Wrexham and Boro are supposedly interested but he's a damn good striker at this level and would be a good foil to Salech. Also only 21 years of age so again another BBM style signing.

I appreciate my filters were rather arbitrary and I did try and keep them to somewhat feasible signings (aka are they a division below/recently on loan/towards the bottom of the division) but there were a few which I'd have gone for if it wasn't for them not fitting the filter, most chiefly:

Michael Noonan - Shamrock Rovers - TransferMarkt value of £400,000. Young, striker, high potential and Irish. Only 18 and 15 appearances so far in the LoI this season with three goals. Definitely worth a punt I think, if only for the BBM Irish links. Also 6'01" so unlikely to get bullied.

Vimal Yoganathan - Barnsley - TransferMarkt value of £175,000. Welsh U21 international and a leggy centre midfielder again with strong potential. 34 games this season in League One, scoring three goals. Barnsley are absolutely cash strapped and have limited investment - if I was in charge of our recruitment I'd be all in on this lad.

Reyes Cleary - Barnsley - TransferMarkt value of £400,000. One of the only bright spots in the Barnsley season. Built like a smaller Ollie Tanner and very industrious off the wing - 42 games, 7 goals and 13 assists. Rapid, 6'01" and strong.

I've kept it under the £15m just as I know TransferMarkt valuations aren't always correct, but that's how I'd approach this window should I be BBM trying to replace outgoings and improve us for next year.

BBM says quality over quantity so here goes:
Laurent Tolaj at Plymouth
Jordan James at Leicester
Sorba Thomas at Stoke (who wants to live there?)
And a left back
Play offs await
